Beautiful Bozeman and preparing for winter

Even though I’ve been freelance writing for over a decade, I still become giddy when my articles come out in the newspaper or magazines. Imagine my delight when I received my Dec/Jan issue of Organic Gardening magazine, which included my article on the very Montanan town of Bozeman. We had a great time visiting Bozeman this summer (despite the delays due to rain and cold), and it’s a delight to see the finished piece. Lately I’m working on articles about the wild winter weather we have in store for us; putting up food to hunker down in style during the cold; pruning fruit trees and working on creating your family tree. Plus, I still have to record several podcasts for the Planters Place group. I’m very happy even though the gardening season is short, writing about it isn’t!

Congratulations, it’s something to crow about all right! What a wonderful place for your article to be born from. My daughter just moved there for college this fall. I’m a proud Mama and jealous too. I’d so love to live in Bozeman.

Thanks, Christina! I’m sure your daughter loves it in Bozeman. There’s so much to do. What’s her major? I was totalling drooling over what the university is doing in the horticulture department. Amazing stuff!
